About Jonathan Venter
Jonathan Venter is a talented young racing driver from Australia who has set his aim on the world stage. During 2016 Jonathan will be racing with Bentley Team Absolute in the very competitive GT Asia championship, which is contested over 12 rounds across 4 countries. He will also compete in selected endurance events globally.
Jonathan has already participated in two 24hr events and a number of 12hr events. In all of these events, he was the youngest competitor.
He is also the youngest driver to ever race at Bathurst (Mount Panorama), the spiritual home of Australian motorsport (16yrs and 4 days).
Jonathan has had a very successful career in karting, culminating in winning the Australian Championship for Junior Rotax in 2010 and representing Australia at the World Championship.
During his Formula Ford years, he won the Victorian Championship in 2012 after finishing runner-up in his rookie year in 2011. He was awarded the inaugural Australian Formula Ford Association Chairman’s Cup in 2012.
During 2015 Jonathan was selected as the only driver outside Europe to participate in the Aston Martin Racing Evolution Academy for young drivers.
Jonathan’s aim is to become a professional racing driver in one of the premier GT categories internationally.
